My buddy Garret Wilson took this back on a trip we took to Hawking Hills, Ohio. It was extremely nice to see what Ohio had to offer beyond the asshole cops and notable skateparks. Garret's become addicted to blogging and with so many well executed photos, I can see why.
An hour walk around the neighborhood after the rain can be such a relief. The silence created by it can have it's affects, too. A few shots from last night.
Unfortunately these cool ocean front capsules weren't planned out very well. The sand and dirt mixed in to create the concrete had some flaws and the place has been left to deteriorate on one amazing piece of land. These are only few of the bunch, and there are many. Ghostly standing.
One of the few shots from our Ilan, Jiao Xi Trip.. Under these decks was a flowing river of Hot Sulfuric Spring water you could dip your feet in or bathe in just down the walkway..
